The Palamós Producers’ Organisation is collaborating with the Alícia Foundation on an innovative project to promote little-known fish species.

This initiative aims to extend the commercial life of these species and facilitate their consumption, contributing to a more sustainable and varied diet.

Within the framework of the Catalan Food Strategy, the project aims to offer consumers new alternatives with high-quality products that often go unnoticed. From the OPP’s fish workshop, we work actively to transform these species into accessible and attractive products for the market, promoting a balanced and environmentally friendly diet.

With this project, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and diversification of the fish supply, always thinking about the welfare of our marine environment and the health of consumers.

Action co-financed by the European Union and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
