New job exchange in the fishing sector in Palamós: ‘Embarca’t’.

The Palamós Producers’ Organisation (OPP) has launched “Embarca’t”, a new digital platform that connects shipowners and professionals in the fishing sector to facilitate job searches and job offers. This initiative was created with the aim of boosting the labour market in the fishing sector in the area, offering a unique space for both those looking for work and those who need to hire staff.

The platform allows shipowners to publish job offers when they need to recruit crew members for their vessels. In addition, anyone interested in working in the fishing sector can register, create a profile and upload their CV, waiting to be contacted by a shipowner.

With this job exchange, the aim is to cover the labour needs in the fishing sector, promoting the direct connection between companies and workers. Through this tool, the OPP is committed to modernising the selection processes and providing support to both shipowners and professionals who want to join or continue to develop in this field.
